Chilli Seedlings | Plant Nursery
Updated: Dec 10, 2021
Chillies thrive in warm tropical and subtropical climates where they can grow all year round. Nonetheless, they grow successfully as annuals in colder areas from spring through to summer. As the colder weather sets in they die off and can be replaced in spring.

If you find you have an over abundance of fruit you can always preserve by freezing, drying, or processing into pickles, hot sauces or spicy jam. Great as gifts!
With a wide range of vibrant colours and a variety of shapes and sizes, they make a very attractive ornamental plant in your garden. They can also be grown in pots making them ideal for sheltered areas on the veranda, balcony or patio.
A word of warning: it’s best to wear gloves and wash your hands after preparing chillies, and be very conscious of where your hands go, especially around sensitive areas!
